The AOCR was happy to host Dr. David Panasci. Dr. Panasci discussed the training involved in Radiology and Neuroradiology, as well as made  recommendations regarding the application process. He also compared private practice and academic settings highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each, followed by a look at the current Radiology job market.

The Student Osteopathic Medical Association, NYCOM chapter held its first meeting on September 27th 2011. Dr. Plummer was the keynote speaker and she discussed her personal pathway to medicine and success. Additionally speeches were given and elections were held for our available chair positions.
